How to stall accepting a job offer
Wondering how to stall accepting a job offer if waiting to hear back from another interview?
Here are some tips that you might find useful:
Make it clear that you’re appreciative and keen on the offer. Ask them to email over the finer details of the offer including benefits etc.
Let them know you’ll review everything & get back to them with any questions within 24hrs.
Contact the other company to let them know that you have another offer, and ask them when they’ll be making a decision.
This will hopefully move the second company along to make a decision on your application, whilst also giving you time to review all the details of your first offer!
⚡️A general rule of thumb is that you can take 2-3 days to give your final response to a job offer⚡️
